Ways to style your Denim jacket.

One Jacket, Four Styles.

Hellow shinies!

Hope you all are sunbathing and enjoying winters.

So,

Why did I decide to do this post?

Well the reason is very simple but only shopaholics would understand,
it’s the everytime-will to shop for getting a new look. I mean why spend so much on so similar stuff when you can get an entire different look by styling the same piece you have.

And since winters are here I chose a denim jacket for it can be wore on summers and winters plus the style can be implied on a regular leather jacket too.

Additional to it:  It’s that one piece that we all have in our wardrobe.

Equation of why I chose a denim jacket:

[Denim jacket = (summer wear+ winter wear )] --------> leather jackets.

It’s like potato cooked to aloo-ka-paratha, aloo-chips, alo- tikki, aloo-samosa, etc.  You see? ‘1’ input and ‘n’ number of outputs. And this is what I’m talking about.

Here I go with the styles:

The tough look

(balloon cap)

The Barbie

(Floral dress)

The ready to go

(black tube top)

The ma-ki-beti

(white kurti)

It can also be wore over the following:

1 – Floral maxi dress, red lipstick, ankle boots and a hat to it.
2 – Pleated maxi skirt with matching crop top and ankle length boots.
3 –little white dress paired with lace heels.
4 – Striped dress or t shirt, a cute scarf and ankle boots.
5 – Boyfriend jeans, black heels,  grey tank top and a statement boho neckpiece.
6 – Cameo pants and super high heels.

Glitters:

  •  Ankle boots are the must have in your wardrobe for winters.
  • Whatever you wear, whichever style you pick just be confident, hold that smile and flaunt out load.
  • Be your own idol.

Thank you everyone.
I enjoyed writing hope you enjoyed reading.

Wonderful days!

Sheer Long and Pink

When Traditional meets Modern

Hello Shines.
Hope you all are doing great

And here I go,

My attire is a mere example of how highly influential is western comfort to Indian fashion and trends .  This style shows that you can rely on traditional wear with a modern twist for the greatest comfort.
This sheer ankle length pink kurti is a bridge between a traditional Pakistani kurti and a maxi top, which is super trendy these days.

Pakistani kurties---------sheer long kurti--------maxi tops

Don’t just be a smart stylist, be a smart shopper too.

As in, people are so much flexible towards the dynamic fashion trends that they don’t even bother about the unused dress kept in their wardrobe which they bought just a month ago. And this is why one has to be economically smart too. And this style not only fulfills the need of either styles but it also adds a different twist which gives you the stand-out-of-crowd look.

The Sheer and plain factor of the kurti is sexy and the long length factor with embroidered ends to the sleeves is elegant. Now you see? You got both the ends tied together and, this is known as smart styling.

Description:

I’ve teamed my kurti with this everyday jeggings , which is again an example of smart shopping.
I’ve worn these beautiful black platforms, as black is the best color which matches with most of the attires for you’re in doubt with.

Shoes :

(Hype, Paltan bazaar, Dehradun, India) and let me tell you a secret, you can get the best of discounts over there so hurry up and since it’s the post-festive low budget time going on and this secret should not be kept a secret anymore. :)
And please don’t forget to mention my name while shopping. :)

Types of bottoms which you can pair to a long kurti:

Palazzos
Jeans
Jeggings
Long skirts
Shorts, preferably denim,  preferably with sheer kurtis.
Leggings/ churidars (preferably not the see through ones).

Types of Bottoms to be avoided:

Dhoti pajama
Patiala salwaars
Capris

Thank you very much for reading.

Don’t forget the Thursdays and Saturdays.

Hope you enoyed it.

I love you all.

The Porch-Party Look

Purple Punch

Hellow my shinies! :)

I really missed each-shiny-one of you.

And I pray you all are doing great. :)

Introduction:

This post is my dedication to all the lovely ladies who wants to look their best and spend thousands and even more of bucks on shopping but in the end  they all look the same.

WANNA STAND OUT OF THE CROWD?

Heres the tip : style differently, “less money and more sense”.

 Be the smarter you.

Description:

  • Shimmery purple maxi skirt, the most under-rated style for parties.
  • Little black blouse and Black open heels to give it a perfect look.

Addons:

  • As golden chain is to black blouse, golden embroidery is to black clutch.
  • A golden bracelet which actually is a neck choaker tied twice around my wrist.
Teehee my trick. I know I’m awesome. hehe

Hair and makeup:

Hair: simple Beach curls and though they are beach curls yet party style can never say no to it.

Makeup: I’ve applied rose pink eye shadow as base, light purple on the end and golden on the starting of my eyes. I’ve applied pink blush lip gloss to my lips and completed it by applying baby pink lip liner. I’ve applied pink blush on my cheeks.

And because the makeup isn’t clear, I’ve decided to upload a makeup tutorial post soon.

Special thanks to Rahul Talwar Photography.

And now,
Thank you all for supporting me and appreciating me. It really mean a lot to me. :)

Hope you like the post.

Saturday/Thursday = blog updating day.

Next post will be out soon.

Bbyee. :)

I love you all.

The Hippie Girl

Rishikesh Vibes

Hey Shinies! :)

Dope you all are doing great. :P

*Saturday hugs*

Dedicated to my beautiful home town, the mini GOA…. RISHIKESH. I decided to get into the hippie culture and present you the best of 1960s Hippie fashion.

Why Hippie???

Believe it or not! Fashion repeats itself and retro becomes modern.

Hippie is the base of Bohemian style.

 Description:

·         Rainbow top which I’ve tied in between
·         White Cross trousers
·         Black beaded head gear
·         Jaipuri touch:  embroidered multi-colored clutch and pair of jaipuri juti to add more colors.
·          Wooden beaded neckpiece which is not matching the attire but that’s what makes you look more 60s cause hippies have no care about what’s matching and what’s not.

Sad news: Hippies are too stoned to bother about makeup.

Good news: I’ve fixed the sad news.

 Makeup And Hair:

·         Eyes: I’ve applied black pencil eye liner to my eyes at the end, increasing its volume and smudged it. Fews coats of mascara on both top and bottom lashes.
·         Lips: Rose red lipstick outlined by dark red lipliner for finishing touch.
·         Hair: I’ve parted my messy hair in between and have tied a beaded head gear around.

And I am ready with my perfect hippie look !

And now,

 Thankyou everyshinyone.

Dope you all like this post.

I love you all.

And don’t forget to check out my blog every Saturday.

SHINE BRIGHT!!!

Crop Top Story: Part 1

 Cute little mermaid

Hello my shinies :)

I missed you all.

Hope you all are doing great!

Description:

I am wearing a black full sleeves crop top paired with cute pink lace shorts and nude stilettos. I am carrying a matching clutch with zero accessories to my look.

Keep it simple but significant, indeed.

Jewelleries are just add-ons, real style lies in the base.

Makeup:  “Simple and cute”

I’ve applied Wing eyeliner with a little mascara and pop pink lipstick.

And I am cute ready. Hehe :) :) :)

Store Stop:

Top:ZARA
Shorts: Flying Machine
Heels: Next
Clutch: Baggit

Glitters:

  • Pair of nude heels is a must to every girl’s wardrobe.
  • Wing eyeliner makes you look younger.
  • Big hand bags shorten your height so short girls please don’t get hidden and carry small bags or clutches.
  • High pony is cute plus it adds to your height.

And now,

Thank you everyshinyone! I am glad that I made this blog. (Really)

 And you know why?

Ganesh Chaturthi Special

ETHNIC WEAR

NAMASKAR everyshinyone!

I pray you all are doing great. :)

First of all,
A very happy GANESH CHATURTHI to all! (May lord ganesha bring you good luck and prosperity).

And now,

MY STORY:

Only girls would understand what it is to carry a real traditional dress with all jewellery and makeup on.  (At our elegant outside, we are so uncomfortable inside) and we all have to pretend like we are some Indian goddess “flaunting her beauty” like nothing’s wrong.

But this is what being a lady is about. Shining bright though burning inside.

What you show is what people see.

INTRODUCTION:

So basically today I’m directing you; how to style yourself  in a simple yet flashy, traditional yet comfortable, easy yet elegant way to look your best on festive seasons.

And the good news is… that you need not to break that mumma’s  telling “ jeans veans na dal lena beta.

DESCRIPTION:

I am wearing an off white lehenga under a short red kurti with a matching bordered dupatta.

ADDONS :
  • Bangles on both hands. (Red and golden)
  • Heavy ear rings. (Gives your look a perfect statement)
  • Side Hangings to add more traditional look to my lehanga.

 HAIR AND MAKEUP:

The most awaited part… lol (at least for me).

Well,
I’ve applied nude eye shadow as base, silver on the edge, golden in between and crimson in the end with thin eye liner and heavy mascara to my eyes. I’ve applied poppy red lip shade with darker lip liner (deep blood red) for finishing touch and tied a messy bun. (tutorial soon)

And I’m done with my look. FIO...

GLITTERS:

  • [RED, OFF WHITE, GOLDEN] ; Best colors for all skin tones.
  • Short kurtis covers belly and is best for girls who are insecure about their tummy.
  • Flashy earrings do wonders when parting hair in the middle. (Though sometimes a statement neckpiece can also do well)

Be confident and bold. Remember? People love only those who love themselves. . No one can make you feel any less than what you truly are.

Don’t want to have that heavy traditional look?

Well, here is the solution;
  • You can wear that same kurti with matching pants or denims,
  • Heels as style statement, basic makeup,
  • Bangles on one hand and you ready to go.

Thank you for reading and appreciating my last post.

Hope you like this one too.

Shine bright everybody :)

Fashion it out.
